My Powernap Secret
By Dave Sherwin
I like to take a quick nap in the afternoon, the problem is that it makes it harder to sleep at night. But I found a great solution, a cross between a meditation and a nap. I downloaded several meditations from the internet to my iPhone, and created a new playlist called "Meditations." In there I have several, but my favorite is one called: Ten Minute Deep Relaxation Break, by Paul Scheele. I just lie down, put on the headphones, and listen. Even though 10 minutes doesn't sound like much, I am constantly amazed at how refreshed I feel every time I do it. I'm sure there are other meditations out there as well, if you know of another good one let me know!

I've never tried this but I do know that if I rest for 10 to 15 minutes during the day I do get energized.
Thank you for sharing this napping tip, Dave. Many years ago, I read that a 20 mimute nap was better for you then a 4 hour sleep. In 20 minutes, your body relaxes, but doesn't get into a complete sleep zone. Best wishes. Frederick
